Many local residents will remember Carol as their school bus drivers during their elementary school years at Caradoc South Public School. In her younger years Carol worked dispatch for the Caradoc Ekfrid Telephone Company and at the Strathroy Police Department. A wizard at the newspaper crossword and word scramble puzzles. She tried her hand at quilting and spent many hours crafting lap blankets for Alzheimer patients. She created many beautiful knit garments for her grandchildren and others to wear. Carol was an avid knitter and enjoyed knitting baby blankets, sweaters, hats and booties. Carol spent many years riding the spectator bench at ball diamonds and ball parks across Ontario supporting Coach Larry and her boys during the Melbourne Merc fastball days and years. Pre-deceased by her parents, Fredrick (1988) and Eleanora (1978) Griffiths, many aunts and uncles and her grandson, Thadius Kenneth (Tad) Huston (2000). Cherished GG to her first great grandchild, Charlotte Rose Huston. Grandmother of Wesley (Brittany), Lyndsay (Jason), Quinton (Taylor), Madeline, Peyton, Kelvin and Curtis.
